7/30/2023 0 Comments Blown away corey haim![]() ![]() ![]() The story, honestly, is almost non-existent. ![]() The three leads try way too hard to say, “Hey look, I’m all grown up now…and I’m naked!” It’s all pretty awkward. I could’ve certainly done without having to see Corey Haim’s bare rear end multiple times, and once was most definitely enough for Mr. I mean, let’s face it, it’s a bit weird to see one of the girls from “Charles in Charge,” the kid who played Lucas, and one of the Goonies gettin’ busy in several late-night cable type scenes. But now, Rich is the prime suspect of the police and it starts to seem that there may someone else out to frame him. But, lucky for Rich, it’s dad who goes “boom” and ends up at the bottom of a cliff. The next day, dad invites Rich to go out for a ride with him (they’re gettin’ chummy now, after all) and Rich almost ends up on the rigged bike. Then Megan starts to talk about a bomb which is planted in the gas tank of one of her dad’s motorcycles. ![]() See, she’s sure that he’s responsible for her mother’s car blowing up a year ago.Īt first, Rich kind of laughs the whole thing off, but when Megan ends up with a shiner, courtesy of dear old dad, he starts to think differently. Turns out, Megan is fixin’ to get someone to kill her old man. Still, it’s enough to get Rich somewhat suspicious, so one day he follows Megan as she drives to a seedy bar and gives a bunch of money to some tough dude. So, now old Rich is having a great time…sexing it up with Megan whenever her father’s not around, spilling orange juice on her legs and licking it off her…who cares if his brother Wes thinks this girl may not be what she seems. This is the first of several pretty explicit scenes featuring the former teenyboppers. That is, she’s wearing a tiny white bikini for all of about 2 minutes before she’s got Rich tearing it off her in the bedroom upstairs. It doesn’t take Rich long to spot Megan at the party…she’s the one wearing a tiny white bikini. So why wouldn’t Rich ditch his on-again off-again girlfriend Darla (Kathleen Robertson) and head to the party with Wes and some buddies. Megan is loaded, living in a huge house with her dad (Jean LeClerc)…as a matter of fact, he owns the resort where Rich works. Rich quickly jumps off his steed and helps out, which earns him an invitation to a party Megan is throwing that night. One day, while riding a horse around to inspect…well, nothing, Rich happens upon a gorgeous young woman, Megan (Nicole Eggert), struggling with a horse or her own. These employees don’t seem to actually do much work, which suits brothers Rich (Corey Haim) and Wes (Corey Feldman) just fine. In an undisclosed mountain town, the employees of a ski resort are closing things up for the summer. Arriving two years before the Jeff Bridges/Tommy Lee Jones film of the same name…it’s 1992’s “Blown Away.” Today’s film features three stars who made it big in their teenage years…among them, the legendary “Coreys.” But this film isn’t exactly cover of Tiger Beat material. Rudy from “The Cosby Show” played a prostitute in a Madea movie, after all. He died suddenly on Main Burbank, California, of pneumonia. It’s always tough for child actors to make the transition to adult roles. His last two films were The Hostage Game (2010) and Decisions (2011). Many of his 1990s and 2000s roles were in direct-to-video releases, and he also had a cameo in the action film Crank: High Voltage (2009). He later starred in the comedy films License to Drive (1988) and Dream a Little Dream (1989), the horror movie Watchers (1988), and the science fiction action drama Prayer of the Rollerboys (1990). In 1987, he had a breakthrough when he played one of the major roles, Sam Emerson, in Joel Schumacher's The Lost Boys (1987). Lucas (1986), in which he starred alongside Kerri Green and Winona Ryder, showed his acting abilities, with praise coming particularly from Roger Ebert. The following year, he starred in the TV movie A Time to Live (1985), for which he received a Young Artist Award, appeared in the comedies Secret Admirer (1985) and Murphy's Romance (1985), and had the leading role, Marty Coslaw, in the Stephen King werewolf film Silver Bullet (1985). He broke into the film industry in 1984, playing a young child caught up in a family war in the movie Firstborn (1984). Corey appeared in 26 episodes of the early 1980s Canadian series The Edison Twins (1982). He has a sister, Carol, and a half-brother, Daniel. 7/30/2023 0 Comments Dead or alive 6 gameplay![]() ![]() To put it bluntly, Dead or Alive 6 is one of the best the franchise has to offer. We need to talk about post-release content.ĭead or Alive 6 is one of the best of them all Now, here we are again, with another game for me to love, but also feel discouraged by all at once.īut for good reason might I add, something we need to talk about as we go. Since then, Dead or Alive remains a franchise that I absolutely adore, but one I’ve become critical of in recent years. To put it short, Dead or Alive 6 continues a tradition from the earlier years of my life, the years just before my High School graduation. Both of them lining up with my style of play. Over the years, I’d become captivated with my time spent using the ninja’s Ryu Hayabusa and Ayane. Us, our pal Eric, and even myself playing it as much as we could, when we could all get in a room together. It was a normal weekend tradition for many months to follow. We’d spend countless hours, pummeling each other across each and every one of those arenas, while jamming out to Eiffel 65. We’d gone down to our local movie store, renting out a copy, grabbing a pizza and making our way back to his house. Among them rests Dead or Alive, a series I was first introduced to back in 1999 by my pal Damien during one of our sleep over nights. I’ll admit that I absolutely love the classics ranging from Virtua Fighter to Soul Calibur and Mortal Kombat. When it comes to fighting games, I’m one of the pickiest gamers you’ll ever meet. Others counter bad habits, pulling the player away from falling back on the same tricks and grinds for every run. Some Challenges serve as a masterclass in speed management, for example, control of which is crucial as the game enters its Pro chapter. What makes the Challenges so good is that, like the most thoughtful Trophies and Achievements, they encourage exploration of the full sweep of OlliOlli2's systems, engendering a variety of play-styles and gently nudging the player towards a true understanding of the game. Passing a level's five Challenges opens up its harder cousins in Pro and then Rad mode, and even by the later Amateur stages, they will test the mettle of the hardiest of twitch and arcade gamers. These range from scoring goals and lists of required tricks, to treasure hunts and sadistic time constraints. The true game, however, lies elsewhere, lurking within the 'Challenges', five of which are assigned to each level. Making it to the finish line without crashing to the ground is enough to get by on, and this alone provides an enjoyable, simple experience with a handful of standout moments. To merely clear an OlliOlli2 stage and unlock the next - at least within the bounds of the opening 25 'Amateur' stages - is a fairly simple business. The manual debuts in OlliOlli's second outing, and you'll be doing it a lot. Initially, like skateboarding itself, it can feel somewhat counterintuitive, but OlliOlli2's controls swiftly reveal themselves as a superb way to weave together linked sets of flips, grinds, and several newly introduced tricks. Stick rotations take skater from crouched, coiled spring through the trick and back to the ground, before a well-timed stab of the X button secures that landing and the speed at which the board rolls on. The elegant control system of the first game also returns, borrowing from the conventions of arcade fighters as much as the tricks used in EA's Skate series. ![]() Pushing the difficulty further still is 'Rad' mode, available to those that can meet a taxing list of unlock requirements. Once again, OlliOlli2 delivers a collection of short levels, spread along a meticulously plotted difficulty curve that makes its way from accessible to distinctly challenging across 50 core stages. The result is a more polished, attractive game, even as, mechanically, much remains familiar. ![]() It's all delivered with a subtly reworked aesthetic, the pixel art-leanings of the original OlliOlli, replaced by smoother, cleaner lines. ![]() OlliOlli2: Welcome to Olliwood takes its name from a new setting: a movie studio tour that justifies a range of visual styles, from Westerns to science fiction. Much will be overtly familiar to those who lost hours to the first game, as Roll7 have wisely taken the path of refinement. And it happened to be a damn fine example of modern twitch, too.Ī little over a year later, and OlliOlli's sequel is here. Retreating from realism, OlliOlli got closer to what is at the heart of skateboarding than most other games could dream of. Roll7's console debut, despite abstracting its subject matter into a 2D twitch side-scroller, captured the rhythm and flow of skateboarding, right down to its use of kinetic energy and the sheer presence of those landings. It's clear to anybody with a knowledge of skateboarding that the team behind the original OlliOlli understood the sport at the centre of their game. Roll7's stripped-back charmer returns - and clever tweaks ensure that it's capturing the glory of skateboarding better than ever. ![]() 7/30/2023 0 Comments Tiger woods pga tour 08 soundtrack![]() ![]() Graphically, a number of conspicuous upgrades have been made to the PGA engine. Likewise, players are also able to spend virtual or actual currency on Boost Pins, which act as single-use stat boosts for golfers. After spending sixty dollars on a new disk, the game’s methods of solicitation may feel aggravating. Of course, the title never fails to propose the purchase of in-game coins or the acquisition of a course through spending real-world money, making PGA 13 often feel like a free-to-play game. Completing a checklist of course mastery items may also unlock a course, but the requirements are also extortionately stiff- requiring feats such as nailing five eagles. At a starting price of 6,000 coins, players will need to play multiple, 18-hole, rounds just to afford the exuberant green fees. Although players can use in-game currency to play a round or three on any of the paid locales, doing so is prohibitively pricey. ![]() ![]() ![]() Where last year’s game vexed players by weaving a quintet of optional DLC courses into the main campaign, PGA Tour 13’s new revenue-requesting schemes are likely to every bit as contentious. Ideally, PGA Tour 13’s Tiger’s Legacy component would have ushered players through the rudiments of Total Swing Control instead the diversion delivers a succession of increasingly challenging events with little formal explanation. Those new of the franchise seemed destined for frustration- as the game offers a surprisingly scant amount of coaching. Now, a white arc surrounds your athlete, displaying the ideal trajectory of your club. Whereas previous PGA entries required little more than a vertical snap of the left analog stick, this year’s title truly imitates the nuances of an actual golf stroke. Although players may opt to use the classic swing mechanic, the primary reason to upgrade over previous iterations is the inclusion of Total Swing Control. Such is the quandary faced by Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13. Yet, the more complex and convincing our simulations become, the more practice players need to become proficient at them, echoing the obligations of real life sports.
